The rounded bob is back. It was last spotted in the late 80s, early 90s and seems to be making a mini comeback on the red carpet. I say mini because as yet, weve only spied it on Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung. But with two of the biggest trendsetters flaunting the look, its bound to be the next must-wear hairstyle.
Both have gone for their own interpretations on the style; Olivia has opted for full-on glamour, while Alexas is suitably dishevelled. Ms Palermos hair has been blow-dried to within an inch of its life, with perfectly rounded ends. She makes it modern with a small piece pinned back at the crown. Alexa, who vowed never to buy into the Manhattan Blow-out style, has gone for a suitably dishevelled version of the look. Her bob is shorter, but still has the tell-tale rounded ends, alluding to a perfect hairstyle that has been slept on - tres cool.
Looks like well be digging out our barrel brushes and heated rollers this weekend and embracing the big hair trend.
