Black crackle polish is tricky; the idea is great but the effect, for lots of us, is a bit too rock chick. So I am super happy that the clever people at Nails Inc have moved the crackle glaze trend on to more wearable shades. There is now a fab deep purple hue called Hoxton and the very spring-appropriate pink Islington, which apparently looks amazing layered over red. For other colour combos, team pink Islington crackle with Floral Street (a bright white) and Hoxton purple crackle over orange Porchester Place for something really striking. Oh, and there is a gold crackle ready to be launched, fingers crossed it will be available soon; I'll keep you posted.
