LFW: initial beauty thoughts

Okay so we may only be halfway through the second day of LFW, but there are some definite trends emerging.

Following on from New York, I've spied earth toned eyes in orange and rust at Jaeger London, Charles Anastase and Betty Jackson.

Glittering nails will be big for winter according to PPQ where red nails were painted with a coat of Mavala's glitter polish in Red Diamond; sparkly nails were also spied at Kinder Aggugini where David Barton painted nails with Maybelline Forever Strong Clear dipped in orange, grey, gold or blue glitter with a stripe down the centre.



Last spot, ponytails, at Kinder Aggugini and Jaeger London. Hairstylist supremo Sam McKnight used Pantene Colour Protect Shine Spray to create super glossy, healthy, sporty ponytails. 'Ponytails are definitely a huge trend for a/w 11' Sam told me. 'They are simple, effective and quick; it's just about creating your own version of the pony be it messy or slick. In winter it's all about finding ways to get the hair out of the clothes and away from the neck' he added.
