This weekend a Facebook friend of mine announced online that she wanted to lose weight and shared not only her goal weight but what she weighs right now with her FB friends. It was obviously a way for her to ensure she stuck to her diet regime, letting the world know every little detail so she is less likely to fail. At first I was a bit put off by the idea (especially as her post-Christmas weight was considerably less than my own) but now I think it makes sense. I’m not saying you should share your resolutions with everyone on Facebook or Twitter, but why not let a friend in on your goals so they can monitor your progress and help you stay on the wagon?

Oh and if you’re wondering here are my resolutions –

Lose the Christmas weight and tone up (no, I’m not sharing specifics!)

Stop pawing absentmindedly at my face – no wonder I’m never blemish-free

Use a body moisturiser every morning to avoid crepey skin when I’m 70
