Sensuous Noir, from £32, is Estee Lauders newest addition to its fragrance range, with notes including black pepper, spiced lily and patchouli, it has a depth that warms my skin and sits beautifully on heavier winter fabrics. For those wanting a more traditional perfume, Chanel harnesses night blooming jasmine in its famous sparkling classic, No 5, from £44. A favourite party perfume of mine is Bvlgaris Jasmin Noir, from £41, sophisticated, heady and addictive well worth a sniff when youre next in the beauty hall. However, for anyone looking for something a bit different, the super cool fragrance house Le Labo has a perfume dedicated to the flower Jasmine 17, £125, with musk, vanilla and sandalwood its a pretty, less traditional choice (youll find it in Libertys Aladdins cave of a beauty hall). Finally, Jo Malone has combined White Jasmine and Mint for a fresher take ideal if you prefer lighter, less aromatic fragrances whatever the time of day or night.
