So here's the thing. This actually works. I'm on Day 10, and I'm pleased to report I've lost 8lbs, and all off my waist. The premise for the first five days has been a protein attack, i.e. Nothing but lean protein with some yoghurt or cottage cheese thrown in.

It's not too hard to digest and because I'm allowed the odd diet coke, I don't feel completely deprived. Its also really changed the way I feel about food too. Whereas on normal diets I find myself obsessing over anything and everything I see which I'm not allowed, including adverts for M&M's, I've never ever eaten M&M's, and yet when I see those little colourful rascals on the tv ads, I feel its the only thing that will satisfy me. But on the Dukan, I'm suddenly not interested, I'm not hungry.

I'm a little bored though, and I'm thankful that I've reached the second stage of reintroducing some vegetables into my life. To add a little more colour perhaps...
