The decadence we've witnessed over the last few weeks showed no signs of abating at YSL tonight. Although it was more tempered than at previous shows like Marc Jacobs and Giles it nonetheless possessed the same louche, rich vibe that we've seen so far.

This time round heads were kept small but the excess came in the form of mirror shine gel slicked through hair. Lengths were rolled up and tucked in to create ridges that ran from ear to ear. This sleek, directional silhouette was echoed in make-up artist Pat McGrath's look, glossy burgundy lips and shiny lids reminiscent of a 30s face but with a modern, fresh feel thanks to bleached brows and the lack of any defining mascara. A minimal look yes, but one that exuded all the strength and sex appeal we've come to expect of a YSL woman.
