A departure for the traditional Antonio Marras girl this season. Although the collection was as romantic as ever the look was headed in a different direction. 'It's a bit grungier this season' declared Eugene Souleiman and make-up artist Lisa Butler concurred, 'we're going against the pretty, it's a bit less filmic and a bit more real'. And what do real girls wear? Well black shadow of course, in a blunt shape lightly smudged in around eyes to look lived in.

Hair was beautifully tousled thanks to copious amounts of Wella's Ocean Spritz (if you haven't tried it you must, it's genius) that was diffused in and twisted to look sexily dishevelled as though hair had been slept on.

This Marras girl, she's my kind of girl.
