There was so much going on at Giles that I almost don't know where to start. But I will, and I'll start with the nails which are the best I've seen yet and involved Sophy Robson and her team painstakingly painting Giles' signature cartoon eyes on to different colour nails.

Next up was Paul Hanlon and the Toni and Guy team who created huge 70s curls on each of the 50 models, a mean feat considering each head had to be tonged and set in pin curls. And then make-up, which make-up artist Miranda Joyce described as 'decadent 70s disco' - fabulously colourful and dishevelled glitter that was pressed on to models faces from lashes to beyond brows. Paired with pale skin and a slash of the brightest red lipstick girls looked like they'd partied the night away at Studio 54.
