Nail numeracy for your digits

This LFW nails have gone numerical. Polishes are now being added and subtracted in different quantities to get just the right shade. Manicurist Jenny Longworth said 'you should never be afraid to experiment' after having mixed a unique blue using Nail Girls polishes backstage at Felder Felder.

2/3 Nail Girls Blue 5 + 1/3 Nail Girls Blue 6 (+ matte top coat) = An inky blue at Felder Felder

1/2 CND Bicycle yellow + 1/2 CND Ivory Coast = A creamy custard shade at Betty Jackson

3/4 Revlon top coat + 1/4 Revlon lacquer in Steel my Heart = Sheer grey at Antonio Beradi

3/4 Kinetics Top coat + 1/4 Kinetics pink polish = Watercolour pink at Vivienne Westwood Red Label

1/2 sand + 1/2 baby pink (+ Andrea Fullerton Gemstone topcoat) = A pretty, sandy, shimmery shade at Matthew Williamson
