Based on those late 60s, early 70s icons - Jane Birkin, Francois Hardy and Jane Fonda (pre workout), the Charles Anastase girl is super cool.

The make-up was simple with taupey brown shadow on the eyes, flushed cheeks and stained 'just been kissed' cherry red lips. While the hair was just as those 70s it-girls wore it: brunette, grown-out bobs with full fringes.

'It's like virgin hair' hairstylist Lyndell told us. 'A backlash against try-hard, dip-dye, pastel and over bleached hair, this girl is cool without trying'.

Wigs were the must-have accessory here. Each one was dyed four times to create a natural look with low lights and highlights, then razor cut into the same effortless style.

Lyndell's main tools for the job - L'Oreal's new Playball called Beach Frizz spritzed on wet hair and scrunch dried to add a light, wispy texture and tecni.art Lumicontrole, applied on dry hair from root to tip to add shine.
