Here at BND HQ it took me all of two seconds to mull over whether or not I love Olivia's new hair and the answer is I do! So much so, I am thinking of booking in for a trim and a colour change. Not only that, but our old Picture Assistant emailed to say shes doing the same. I feel a trend coming on!
For any of you who want an 'Olivia' too, I spoke with her hairdresser Andre Davis, at the Roy Teeluck salon in New York, to find out exactly what you should ask your hairdresser for.
- Ask for an unstructured bob, not a classic one, neat and poker straight. Make sure you hairdresser adds lots of long layers for movement.
- For the colour you want a rich, brown. Olivias has been lightened by the sun, so ask for balayage to recreate this look in the salon. Olivia sees colourist Michele Fury at the Roy Teeluck salon.
- To style, youll need a mousse to lift the roots and add volume.
