I loved this recent piece in The New York Times about New Yorkers who are loving a tipple with their nail tidy-up: or a mani to go with their martini, whichever way you look at it. It made me wonder – surely us Brits are ahead of the curve when it comes to drinking and primping? Turns out, we so are. So until Dashing Diva, the NY nail chain famed for its cocktail/mani combos comes to the UK (if you’re listening DD bosses, please let this be soon), check out one of these.

Nails Inc have whole nail bars dedicated to the cause: their Champagne manicure bars in Harvey Nichols stores nationwide offer a Champagne manicure, £40. They also dole out the bubbly stuff to anyone who has a treatment over £40.

 

I love the idea of SO spa’s Pint & pedicure and Manicure & martini, £45 each, at the Sofitel Hotel, London. Though if I book a mani-pedi I might be in trouble.
