Here at BND we’ve been planning for the new season for a while, so all my summer products feel a bit old now.  The first thing I like to change is my fragrance; warm and spicy notes get me in the mood for the cooler autumn months. So these are the new scents to have caught my ‘nose’ in recent weeks.

With bitter orange, raspberry and honey Paco Rabanne’s Lady Million, £33 for 30ml, starts off sweet. It’s perfect if you’re not ready to wave goodbye to summer just yet. It dries down to a sumptuous woody-floral – perfect for bridging the gap between the seasons.

If you can’t afford one of Herve Leger’s pricey bandage dresses, then his Femme fragrance, £20 for 50ml, is a happy consolation. It’s a fruity-foral, but the vanilla and cypress wood gives it warmth. Buy it from Avon from September.

Love, Chloe, £38 for 30ml, is a sexy scent. Powdery with hints of lilac, pink pepper and orange blossom it conjures up Chloe’s glamorous 70s vibe perfectly.

Estee Lauder’s Sensuous Noir, £32 for 30ml, is a real statement scent. With purple rose, jasmine, spiced lily and amber it’s intense and captivating. Save this one for parties.
