After a friend's hen weekend I was feeling a bit, okay a lot, worse for wear this morning. Friday night saw me drink far too many 'home-made' cocktails, which was followed by a 20k bike ride in the Forest of Dean on Saturday. I managed to survive the exercise despite a very sore head, nauseous tummy and a few secret tears. Then Saturday night saw us out on the town until 5am. So, you can see why I wasn't at my perkiest today. Thankfully, while opening my post this morning I came across an envelope of Berocca's new Boost.
The same concept as the original (water soluble, fizzy, fruity tasting tablets packed with vitamins and minerals) but these have the added 'boost' of Guarana. Guarana is a natural stimulant and it really did the trick. I am, surprisingly, back to my usual self, so much so I've booked in for a gym class tonight. No doubt I'll be cracking open the Berocca Boost again tomorrow morning...
