I’m off on holiday tomorrow so last week was spent preparing for my jaunt – a light layer of fake tan, the obligatory wax and of course THE PEDICURE. Seeing as this was the most important task on my list (of late my feet have quite frankly been shocking – dry and very tired-looking) I didn’t just book in for any old pedi, I went for the crème de la crème – the Medical Pedicure at Margaret Dabbs. In one hour my feet went from scaly and sorry to sparkling, shiny versions of themselves, thanks to three different types of filing (one heavy duty machine one, usually reserved I suspect for the very worst cases), serious cuticle work and a lick of the brightest fuchsia polish. They were in short, reinvented and still feel baby-soft five days later. A pre-holiday must.

Full Surgical Pedicure, £75, for 45 minutes
