Every so often a product lands on my desk that I know I will never use. Not in a bad way you understand, no, quite simply because it is too pretty to even go near. Case in point this week is the new collection of lipsticks from girly French brand Paul & Joe. From the outside it looked like a regular lipstick packaged in its usual floral cardboard tube - so far so ordinary I thought, but then I popped off the lid and began to wind it up and lo and behold look what greeted me! Not just any old lippie, this pretty rose bullet comes in the shape of a teeny tiny cats head! The idea behind the shape is to encourage women to start using lip brushes to apply their lipstick, a throwback to a more polished, ladylike way of wearing make-up. All of thats wasted on me though because I for one will not be putting my lips anyway near this, its far too cute. No, this little chap will remain on my desk and be called upon when I need cheering up. Lucky really, because Ive always wanted an office cat.
