Waiting at the bus stop last night after work I found myself staring at the decorative patterns on a nearby lamp post. The entwined CCs got me thinking what it would be like if the London borough of Westminster was in fact sponsored by those purveyors of luxury, Chanel.
Well for a start said lamp post would obviously be lacquered in Rouge Noir while no doubt the streets would be perfumed with a spritz or two of No.5 (Coco Mademoiselle on whimsical days). Boxes of camelias would adorn every windowsill while every building would be designed in a simple, chic palette of crisp black and white. It's a good job my bus came before I got too carried away thinking about traffic wardens' uniforms...
