Sex and the City 2 has finally arrived and beauty brands have jumped on the bandwagon. After wading through the hundreds of SATC 2 related emails - all claiming connections with the film - I have come up with three products that are officially linked with the franchise.

First up is Eylure. They have created official Sex and the City lashes inspired by the four characters. Charlotte's are subtle and Miranda's are cleverly heavier on the outer edge to give a sexy feline look to the eye. My favourites, however, are Carrie and Samantha's. Sam's are full-on and fabulous - you'll need some of her confidence to pull these off; while Carrie's have a spikier look to give your eyes some sass and are adorned with a star in each corner. Well, she is the lead after all.

Next is Sarah's new fragrance SJP NYC. I reviewed it recently for the site (click here). It was designed by Ms Parker with her character Carrie firmly in mind. Spritz liberally before you see the film for a complete sensory experience.

Finally, Suqqu a Japanese skincare and colour brand, which is stocked exclusively at Selfridges, is holding a special Sex and the City 2 on-counter event. But before you think this is an unrelated marketing ploy, Kristen Davis and Kim Catrall swore by Suqqu's Foundation, £60 (exclusive to Selfridges, enq: 020 7318 3538) on the set of the new film. From tomorrow until 2 June, SUQQU and Selfridges are offering a foundation experience so you can get a SATC2-worthy complexion and a chance to sample the whole range in a suitably decorated NYC style suite. Be sure to take the girls along for this one.
