Alice Watt, Fashion Assistant, Kettlebells at Virgin Active

In between sessions with the personal trainer I've supported my kettlebell classes with cardio, weights and extra classes like yoga. But after a hectic week, I found the gym has slipped right down my list of priorities - something I am definitely going to rectify. Tonight I am determinedly forcing myself to do a minimum hour workout, usin the cross trainer and ski machine - despite not being able to get it to move in the induction!


The best advantage of to having membership at a gym like Virgin Active is having everything, including the pilates, power plate and zumba classes included in the membership so I can pop along to them all. Keeps the gym experience alive! There's also a Roxy Surfing workout being added to the timetable that intrigues me...

So, after a week away from kettlebells, I am sure the next session tomorrow will be quite punishing. Fortunately a yoga class over the weekend will help stretch me out.
