I have never really understood Lady Gaga; the wacky outfits, unusual behaviour and out-there make-up. But, after seeing her live on Friday night at the O2, I am converted.

She can sing live, has some mean dance moves up her sleeve and can play the piano proving that Gaga isn’t just style over substance. Her talent, in my book, means she can be as crazy as she wants in the beauty department; the bolder, the better.

During her fun packed show she flaunted peroxide blonde hair with sunshine yellow extensions, purple glitter eye stickers (I kid you not) they made for a quick change in between songs and numerous outlandish headdresses. I’m after the eyeshadow stickers for Saturday nights out, just slip ‘em off come home time. Imagine, no more waking up with make-up on your cheek, pillow…

We should all follow her cue and start getting more creative with our make-up. I have just tried and tested the bold eye seen at and love it (pictured). I used the Body Shop’s Shimmer Cubes palette 19, £16, or go authentic and head to your nearest Nars counter and get the look using the exact shadows from the show.

You'll need:

The emerald side of NARS Misfit Duo Eyeshadow, £23, to sweep under the eye; the violet side of the Jolie Poupee Duo Eyeshadow, £23, swept over the eyelids; use the darker side in the crease and fade into the temple joining the emerald green from Misfit. Highlight the inner corners of the eyes with NARS Bains Douche Glitter Pencil, £18.50. Then dust the burnt orange side of NARS Mediteranee Duo Eyeshadow, £23, along the brow bone.

This week try something a bit out-there too and let us know how you get on.

Now where’s that hair glitter…
