It's a double whammy backstage at Antonio Berardi this morning with two huge trends being worked simultaneously. First up, deep purple lips punctuating a crisp, nude face. Make-up artist Gucci Westman for Revlon describes the brown grape shade as the ultimate luxurious lip colour and when set against creamy, highlighted skin, I'm inclined to agree.

And then steps in genius hair stylist Malcolm Edwards, today working with an arsenal of John Frieda products to create a Kate Moss inspired half looped ponytail that brilliantly references the early 90s grunge theme that's been dominating LFW so far.

Nails deserve a big mention here too, the brilliant Marian Newman is lacquering nails in a deep black purple that's 'super super glossy and what I want to wear on my nails right now.

All in all a beautifully constructed, effortlessly edgy look - what LFW is all about.
