So I've barely caught my breath after New York and it's back in to LFW with a bang. And what a bang. I've just got back from the first show of my season Hakaan, a little known Turkish designer who's creating this week's biggest buzz. Rumours that Kate Moss is attending the show and that French editor Carinne Roitfeld has bought the whole collection only added extra anticipation to an already frenzied backstage. With top models Lara Stone, Natalia Vodianova and MariaCarla Boscono walking and beauty luminaries Luigi Murenu and Lucia Pieroni leading hair and make-up, the show has well and truly put itself on the fashion map.

A line up to die for

So what of the looks? Well in true high fashion style the beauty was edgy and striking; pale, highlighted faces washed with shades of grey around the eyes and taupe under the cheekbones, all accentuated by bleached brows (yes they're back for another season it seems). To offset this beautiful androgynous look hair was simple and graphic with clean, lacquered centre partings giving way to dry, wavy lengths - a style to make models look like 'gorgeous graphic goddesses' according to Murenu. We couldn't agree more.
