Whenever fashion month gets under way there is a feeling of the new in the air. I feel an itch to clear out my make-up drawer to make room for some new buys.
If you're a fan of Calvin Klein's classic Euphora fragrance you'll love the new Euphoria EDT that launches nationwide this Thursday. This new edition starts off green with hints of bergamont, transforming with orchid and honeysuckle fragrances which add a femenine edge to this version; the scent then dries down to a sweet aroma of Bailey's cream and amber - yum. Natalia Vodianova will be modelling the scent in the print advertising, we may not look like her but at least we can smell like her! Euphoria EDT, from £28 for 30 ml by Calvin Klein.
Out today is Lancômes limited edition BAFTA palette, created to celebrate their ten-year partnership with the illustrious film awards. The Pop n Cheeks blush is a gorgeous pink and peach shade, flecked with shimmering silver. The casing is adorned with Swarovski crystals for a touch of red carpet glamour. Priced at £45 its not cheap but is covetable.
Paul & Joe is always a winner in my books. This week, they launch Self Select eye shadows. Take the pretty palette (£8) and then fill with your pick of three new shades and finishes (£12 each). From champagne to charcoal black, via hot pink and bright yellow, there are plenty of colours to choose from.
Staying on an eye shadow tip, LOreal Color Appeals new shade Purple Obsession, £4.99, is quickly becoming my favourite for the new season. The metallic finish ensures lids have a cool sheen.
Finally a gentle reminder that throughout this month, £2 from every sale of the Long Last Glosswear SPF15 in I Love Kisses, £13, by Clinique will go to the Kiss It Better campaign for Great Ormond Street hospital. Just because Valentines Day is behind us, doesnt mean we cant still spread the love.
