What is it? MV Travel Essentials, £66
The small cotton travel bag contains a Gentle Cream Cleanser 70ml, Rose Hydrating Mist 70ml, Rose Soothing & Protective Moisturiser 15ml and a muslin cloth.
The Claim: Essential for all discerning skincare lovers, including those with sensitive skin and rosacea.
The Pros: The cream cleanser is rich, but the muslin cloth ensures that all traces of it, as well as every bit of dirt, is removed. The cloth also lightly exfoliates my skin, preventing any build-up of sebum that can lead to mass breakouts (Im prone to spots). The mist is refreshing, while the thick moisturiser feels hydrating and comfortable on my skin.
After just four days my skin felt softer and looked brighter. Also, whereas I usually get three or four spots from my hormones going haywire, this month I survived with just one.
The Cons: The moisturiser is far too small. Im running out after two weeks, but still have plenty of cleanser and mist left. Also, although Ive noticed more of a glow to my skin, sometimes it just looks shiny, which means the formula may be a little too rich for my skin.
