I’ve just returned from an appointment with nail artist Andrea Fulerton who painted my nails in one of Revlon’s new spring/summer colours Lilac Pastelle – a delicate lavender with a slight hint of pink. Soft sorbet shades are set to be the next big nail thing and, as ELLE's resident nail expert, I predict these pastels (think everything from Neopolitan ice cream-inspired strawberry, vanilla and chocolate to soft lavender and muted mint) will be adorning everyone’s fingers and toes come summer. The best bit? They suit everyone. No really. On olive, tanned skin colours like ice blue and lemon pop, but I love the way these milky shades look like they’re just fading into pale skin tones, too. In fact they look so all-round delicious that I’m only just resisting the temptation to lick my fingers.
