Liberty gets beauty hall make-over

On June 13 the beauty hall is set to expand, but thanks to its sensitive make-over it won’t be losing any of its ‘treasure trove’ charm, just adding to its exciting offerings. The floor is being renovated to reflect the stores aesthetic roots – the iconic Liberty Print providing inspiration for the flashes of colour running through the new space.

There will be ‘Hot Spot Tables’ focusing on Liberty’s exclusive finds, the newest three being Colbert MD, a system to promote skin health, which Liberty Beauty Buyer Gina Ritchie tells me is loved by stars including Sienna Miller, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts. SachaJuan, a new luxury haircare range, from Sweden’s premier salon; the products are packed with hair nourishing proteins and minerals harnessed from sea algae; fans read like a who's who of Hollywood - Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz, among others. Finally, Hourglass (which we told you about way back – it’s a favourite of Jennifer Aniston) will be joining the line-up, ‘their products don’t merely pamper—they perform with advanced ingredients. Everyone must try their Extreme Sheen Lipgloss, with antioxidant vitamin E to protect’ adds Gina.

Other new arrivals include Trish McEvoy, Bobbi Brown, Chantecaille, Decleor and Aromatherapy Associates, while existing brands cherished by Liberty regulars (Ren, Diptyque, Copwshed, Maison Francis Kurkdijan, to name a few) will be getting more floor space.
