Jennifer, who is known to play it safe with her outfit choices, broke her own mould in a bold orange Vivienne Westwood dress that had the designer's recognisable corset style, with cut-out on the cleavage. The outfit choice is more in keeping with New York style, while her usual look tends to be more California Girl - sporting jeans and tees off-duty and an array of simple nude or black evening dresses at events.
Her mid-length bob, cropped by her hairdresser Chris McMillan back in February, appeared to have grown out and was mussed-up into a beachy, bed-head texture - a nod to her usual California style. And her body looked even more honed than ever, but then Jennifer is dedicated at working out seven days a week. 'I do a lot of running,' she said. 'Exercise is so important. Plus it's all about balance. Work, exercise, diet, you need balance.'
She's also a fan of yoga and works out with her teacher Mandy Ingber , shes also been known to take Mandy's new Yogalosophy DVD on location with her when she is shooting away from LA.
Although the actress appears to have a soft spot for us Brits (she launched her debut fragrance over here first with a launch at Harrods back in July last year and chose a UK dress designer for her New York launch yesterday), it looks like Manhattan is where Jennifer wants to set up home having just bought a $5.9 million penthouse in the city's cool West Village. In the past she has said, 'I grew up here. I miss it. There's nothing like being in the city...'
With her move to New York rumoured to be imminent and her seemingly more frivolous attitude to fashion right now, we can't wait to see how her style develops on the East coast.
