Hairstylist James Pecis, takes you step-by-step through the plaited look. James is regular in ELLE magazines hair how-to feature. Hes from northern California and started as an apprentice in San Francisco before joining the Bumble and Bumble team in New York where he continued his training in cutting and styling.

Team ELLE often see James backstage at the shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris; he created the hair for one of ELLEs favourite a/w 11 shows Meadham Kirchhoff (watch the show here).

Hes worked with photographers Mario Testino and Michaelangelo Di Bapptista, among others, lent his skills to famous advertising campaigns including Burberry, Vivienne Westwood and Acne, as well as working with plenty of glossy magazines.
