Bottega Veneta to launch first fragrance!

This news is so hot off the press we don’t even have a shot of the bottle yet, however we do have a lovely picture of Nine d’Urso (pictured), who has been confirmed as the face of the fragrance.

‘I chose Nine to introduce this fragrance because there is something classically elegant about her, yet she is totally modern. She conveys a sense of heritage worn lightly but with respect,’ says Tomas Maier, creative director at Bottega Veneta.

She is the French-Italian daughter of French fashion icon Inés de la Fressange (who was Karl Lagerfeld's muse for Chanel during the 1980s) and is a relative unknown in the UK at the moment but that is set to change with the fragrance campaign which will be shot by fashion photographer Bruce Weber.
