ELLE’s Beauty Award Winners Announced

This morning the great and good from the beauty world congregated for ELLEs first annual Beauty Awards at The Ivy.

ELLE asked over 70 industry insiders to reveal the beauty product that changed their life; we then asked you to choose your favourite from an impressive list of star products. From the survey 12 products were Highly Commended, while 15 won the top prize.

Over an informal breakfast ELLEs Editor-in-Chief Lorraine Candy announced the winners, while ELLEs new Beauty Director Emma Smith presented the awards to the lucky few. Rita Lewis, ELLEs Publisher said the Beauty Awards is a very important part of ELLEs 25th Anniversary, during which we have delivered a series of firsts.

For ELLE this is the start of bigger and better beauty coverage going into 2011. Were looking to publishing a beauty supplement and even more beauty shoots are planned for next year. Our commitment to beauty is really strong said Lorraine Candy. So watch this space!
