X Factor ramps up its beauty

Last year we were all obsessed with Dannii Minogue’s ever-changing hairstyles and Cheryl's choice of outfit. This season, with the help of Diane Kruger's hairstylist Adam Reed and make-up artist Liz Martins, it will be the contestants' beauty looks taking centre stage.

The X Factor has revamped its beauty line-up with Adam Reed and Liz Martins being added to the billing. Adam Reed is an ELLE favourite and Hollywood starlet Diane Kruger trusts him so much that he is often her plus one to events he has styled her for. While make-up Artist Liz Martins is responsible for Girls Aloud's stunning looks for videos and photoshoots - she also worked with the girls on their Eylure lashes launch last year.

The looks for this weekend are under wraps for now but word has it that Shu Uemura is working closely with Liz since Katie was spotted at the judge's houses stage wearing a pair of its falsies. Lashes are apparently going to be Katie's 'thing' and Shu Uemura will be her brand of choice - we can't wait to see which lashes she chooses for her live show debut.

With Adam's extraordinary ability to craft exquisite hairstyles and Liz's knack at making women look as good as Cheryl, we're betting that we’ll be talking about the make-overs as much as the singing come Monday.
