The rumours of a Jimmy Choo perfume have been simmering for a while now. The brand signed a 12-year contract with Inter Parfums (who distribute Burberry, Lanvin and Paul Smith scents) three years ago and at the time Mellon was quoted as saying, It has always been my vision to fully accessorise the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe. I look forward to bringing this important aspect of my vision to life.
The contract came into effect at the start of this year and the fragrance was slated for launch spring 2010. Now, after years of waiting the US press have been given a November date for a press preview; here in the UK, according to the press team at Inter Parfums, we have to wait.
