The Limited Edition collaboration, which is the first to be born from this joint venture, includes two palettes, four shades of lip gloss and two pens one highlighter and one brightener.
'Each season,' explains Georgina Chapman, 'Keren and I introduce a new collection, but with the classic and consistent signature that is Marchesa
we transport our customers back to a time when luxury fashion meant the best in tailoring, design, fabric, etc. When it came to launching a cosmetics collection, we wanted to do the same and we found immediately that Le Métier de Beauté shared these same core values.'
In keeping with Marchesas glamour, the packaging has moved away from Le Metier de Beautes signature matte black design. Instead the duo created dark, metallic silver packaging directly inspired for the gown they designed for Sandra Bullock to wear to the 82nd Academy Awards
The stand out products? For Team ELLE it has to be the handy credit card sized palettes. La Lune, created by Georgina, is ideal for a smoky, evening look and includes translucent pressed powder, concealer, lip gloss, crème blush and eye shadow.
La Soliel, on the other hand, is for those who love a bronze look - what ever the time of year. This palette includes bronzer, concealer, lip gloss, crème blush and eye shadow.
The Marchesa for Le Metier de Beaute collection will be available in Selfridges and Liberty in the next two weeks. Prices range from £25 for lip gloss to £45 for palettes.
