We spotted actress Jennifer Aniston shopping for a new lipstick at Barney's in New York on Sunday and, being dedicated Jen followers, we couldnt rest until wed found out what she bought. After a bit of super beauty sleuthing we have discovered that the brand that she was browsing was Hourglass.
Masterminded by Carisa Janes, a beauty expert who honed her skills working as product developer for big brands like Urban Decay, Hourglass was created back in 2004. The brand combines luxury ingredients and advanced skincare technology without relying on parabens and other nasties. The Veil Fluid Makeup and Veil Mineral Primer are its bestsellers but it seems that the lipsticks are what caught Ms Aniston's attention.
When it launched the brand was exclusive to Barneys, landing into Sephora in 2006. Luckily for us Brits we can buy the products at zuneta.com where everything from the Veil Fluid Makeup to the lipsticks are available. Ironically, Angelina Jolie is mentioned as a fan of the brand on the website.
Oh and you had better be quick - when word got out earlier this year that Jennifer went to Harvey Nichols and bought up a whole load of Sue Devitt products they flew of the shelves. You have been warned.More
