Best Make-up: Met Ball 2013
The red carpet is usually the place for the A-list to style their hair in the most flattering, gorgeous hairstyles. Not last night. Last night the MET Ball 2013 theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture.
Some were truly inspired by the brief (that's you Miley and Nicole). While others, when it came to their hair, ignored the punk or chaos elements and went couture (see Miranda Kerr's glossy waves).
Winning looks came from Sienna Miller, Kristen Stewart and Michelle Williams who worked in subtle punk elements for looks that <
Not quite punk, but we do love Solange Knowles' afro hair.

Oh, hello Anne Hathaway! We didn't recognise you with that peroxide blonde hair. But who inspired the colour change Debbie Harry or Miley Cyrus? Find out here...
Cara Delevingne works an asymmetric hairstyle with braid detail. Perfectly punk.
Diane Kruger made like Coco Rocha at last year's MET Ball and worked some pink colour through her hair.
What happens when you can't decide whether to wear your hair up, down, sleek or soft? Erm, do it all. Gwen Stefani makes a bun, slick side parting and soft ends work in one hairstyle. Impressive.
Kristen Stewart wears her hair in a simple quiff. One of the more understated hairstyles of the night.
Michelle Williams' hair may look super sweet with the jewelled headband, but we can spy that edgy undercut. Love.
Okay, we won't be copying this hairstyle anytime soon but we do give Miley Cyrus top marks for effort and sticking to the Punk: Chaos to Couture theme.
Miranda Kerr's hair is a little too groomed for the Punk theme, but we forgive her because it's so gorgeous and shiny.
The biggest lip trend in celebrity-land right now- it's all...
