We know its all about the music, but us being us, we're equally enamoured with the red carpet grooming. The 2013 Grammys didn't disappoint with a strong leaning towards block red lips and glamourous hair of Hollywood-polished proportions. Our awards season beauty hit-list is coming along nicely, so thank you Grammy's - here are some more favourites to add to the collection.

Beyonce's block monochrome outfit was perfectly befitting the velvet red lips + super sleek hair choice. A refreshing change from the tumbling curls and smoky eyes of late, and a no-frills but suitably statement look to set a benchmark for the remaining A-Listers. We love.

A champion for the Full Fringe movement, Jessica retains her perfectly polished crown with trademark shiny locks. In a word - wow. Rihanna is a beauty chameleon and her Grammys red carpet offering was nothing short of dazzling. There to support her husband who won with his band Mumford & Sons, Carey swapped her usual red-carpet look for slightly undone grunge. We're used to immaculate elfin crop Carey, so a sweeping fringe is an adjustment, but a good one. Muted red lips and simple eye makeup was the perfect choice for a supporting role in the event, but we noticed her anyway!

There may not be anything new to talk about as regards Adele's Grammys look, but its become so iconic that she still makes our hit list. Adele pulls off retro glam again and again to the point where we might cold sweat at the sight of unlined eyes or shock horror, a straight down do. We coin this beauty philosophy 'The Adele', and for that achievement alone lady, we salute you.
