Actress Dakota Fanning, star of The Runaways and Twilight, has had golden blonde hair ever since we can remember.

The ELLE cover girl, who is currently studying at New York University, has posted a picture on Statigram of her dramatic transformation from blonde to brunette.

Meanwhile over in London, resident Brit in Hollywood, Emily Blunt, has hit the bottle too. She was photographed at London’s Sadler’s Wells theatre sporting blonde highlights.

After Natalie Portman’s striking switch to bottle blonde last month, is this the start of a new movement? Two’s a coincidence, but three is a trend.
