One week, three celeb hair changes

First, we spotted Rooney Mara shooting scenes in New York for her new film A Bitter Pill, starring Jude Law. For the role Rooney has had long, ombre hair extensions put in which are in stark contrast to the sheared, sculptural crop she had for her part as Lisabeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Next, Anne Hathaway has gone in the opposite hair direction to Rooney and had her long, lustrous hair cut super short for her role in the upcoming film version of Les Miserables. We spied Hathaway, who will play Fantine a struggling factory worker who ends up selling her hair, leaving The Box club in Soho, London earlier this week. What we want to know is will Anne embrace her short hair in real life, like Rooney did, or head straight to the nearest salon for hair extensions post filming? Only time will tell...

Finally, Crystal Renn showed off bold, bright platinum locks and matching eyebrows at the 9th Annual Spring Dinner Dance New Year's In April: A Fool's Fete at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York. She had to have the new look for her modelling work, but liked it so much she decided to keep it.
