Marni to launch fragrance

Estee Lauder's Aramis and Designer Fragrances Division which also looks after DKNY, Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger, among others will launch a Marni fragrance in autumn 2012.

Marni was founded in 1994 by Consuelo and Gianni Castiglioni – so it’s about time they graced us with a scent. No details of the deal or future fragrances have been announced but Gianni, CEO Marni, said, 'We are delighted to be working with the Estee Lauder Companies, a world leader in fragrance, cosmetics and skin care, to expand our business. They are one of the best when it comes to creating and marketing fragrances. We look forward to collaborating with them and to expressing Marni in a new creative platform.'
