Instagram is awash with curated images of perfection.

If you're feeling less-then-ideal in yourself, you wouldn't be alone in wallowing in the filtered and flawless pages of Insta, making yourself feel worse with every scroll.

Thankfully, there is something of an antedote to the preened images, that means you don't need to eschew the social media platform all together.

The body positive movement on Instagram is responsible for saving so many of us at our lowest point's. People sharing the tiniest dose of reality in a sea of edited content can really make the difference.

And singer Pink has joined the crew.

Pink, (you know, the one with the abs who can perform live whilst doing aerial gymnastics?) is two babies in and is technically obese.

Yep, she posted a very fit photo, explaining how, at 160 lb and standing at 5ft 3" she is technically obese.

She is probably referring to her BMI (which considers her age, height and weight) which, by our calculations, is at around 28, which is on the border of 'overweight' and 'obese'.

Would you believe I'm 160 pounds and 5'3"? By 'regular standards' that makes me obese. I know I'm not at my goal or anywhere near it after Baby 2 but dammit I don't feel obese. The only thing I'm feeling is myself. Stay off that scale ladies!

But, as you can see, the singer and mum is looking far from fat, in fact, if that's fat, sign us jolly well up.

She tagged her trainer Jeanette Jenkins who reposted the photo with a kick-ass caption.

She talked through Pink's improvements, explaining step-by-step, how she has gotten better not only in her strength, cardio and flexibility, but in her mind and confidence too.

Reminding even the most self-critical of us, how many ways you can chart success, and how irrelevant the scales can be.
