I was watching the Brits from a prime position right over the stage. I witnessed the Taylor Swift strut. Sam Smith gave me goosebumps. I witnessed the epic fall of Madonna, but still my highlight was Paloma Faiths hair. Wet look, scraped back, adorned with flowers to rival Frida Kahlo (don't know? Look her up. Absolute beauty icon). I was sitting with Claire Rothstein, lead stylist at the Brits Backstage Spa. She talked me thorugh how to do it.

1. "The wet look is big for spring summer. Apply V05 Nourish My Shine Miracle Concentrate, £2.99 to towel dried hair and blow dry, brushing the hair backwards from your hairline as you go.

2. Once dry, mix some more Miracle Concentrate with Nourish My Shine Miracle Illuminator, £3.99, for added shine and separation. Work through the roots and top section of the hair with your hands, leaving the ends dry.

3. Gather hair at the nape of the neck and tuck it under. Loosely pin with Kirby Grips. You could roll your hair up in a donut underneath and secure that in place - its an easier way to get this kind of volume

4. Poke large flower stems through behind the ears on both sides and allow a few strands of hair to fall out at the temples. You can attach flower stems to hat wire to get more manouverability and essentially use it to pin them in place."
