EVERYONE'S DOING...SMOKY EYES

Celebrities (and their make-up artists) know that smoky eyes give maximum impact with minimum effort. A simple sweep of grey (we love Bobbi Brown's eye shadows in charcoal and slate, £13.50) across the lids and lightly blended outwards, a slick of liner and lashings of black mascara is all it takes. Paired with nude lips (remember the rule: dark eyes = nude lips, bold lips = nude eyes) and a bronzed tan and you are good to go. The A-listers, from Mary-Kate to Reese, also know that smoky eyes look perfect with a LBD, but as the weather hots up you can add egde to your summery florals with a sultry, smoky look too.
