This morning we turned up to our tent to find a line of girls snaking from our front door, all the way down the hill. In case you missed the buzz, our #ELLEBeautyCupboard has been transported to Bestival this weekend by Rimmel London. With six make-up artists (here's one of them below) and 2 nail technicians on hand, we’re transforming festival faces every day from 11am – 6pm.

So popular, has this become, that girls started lining up from 7am (sore heads, pyjamas and all).  They’re not just here for the make-up either. Our pop up is so instagram worthy, we’ve actually employed a “professional instagrammer” to take photos of our guests on the ‘black’ carpet, celebrity style.

Our favourite look of the day was inspired by Twiggy, with a lot of definition along the eye socket and lashings upon lashings of Rimmel London’s new Super Curler Mascara.

Our highlight? Definitely chatting with Rae Morris backstage. Rae chilled out in ELLE’s tipee ahead of her performance and raved about the sunshine, the beautiful Island (she’s vowed to return to explore it more) and the excellent Summer of Love themed outfits she’d spotted since arriving. Rae’s stage look was slick and pared back – an olive shirt and tailored trousers.

Upcoming talent Kimberly Anne and Misty Miller also paid Team ELLE a visit. Misty was spotted at the festival five years ago when she took the mic in an acoustic tent and her music career has been on an upwards trajectory since. Her signature make-up look on stage? Matte-look red lipstick.
