After giving birth to baby Suri in 2006, Katie Holmes hired Sue Fleming, the owner of Buff Brides, who specialises in turning unfit fiances into toned wives in a matter of weeks. Tom oversaw her exercise plan apparently, which focused on building up her back and shoulders.
Exercise runs in her family, she and her parents go running on Thanksgiving before their turkey dinner, and Katie famously completed the NY marathon in 2007 in a respectable 5 hours, 29 minutes, 28 sec. She trains on a treadmill in her gym at home and even goes running around the neighbourhood.
To keep her body lean Katie sensibly eats fruits and vegetables and avoids ‘bad’ carbs such as desserts, bread and baked potatoes.
