Anti-Cellulite Diet

This diet promises to eliminate cellulite (or at least reduce it) by improving the quality and elasticity of the skin through diet. It works on the principle that loose, dry skin cannot resist the protrusion of adipocytes (boxes of fat), which make cellulite visible - strengthening and tightening the skin means cellulite will not appear. Added benefits: the diet claims to boost collagen in the skin, strengthen vein walls, improve hydration and neutralise the free radicals that cause ageing. Proteins are encouraged for firm skin; wholegrain cereals and green vegetables to strengthen vessels and prevent water retention.
The key is to combine a healthy diet with regular dry body brushing and moisturising to banish cellulite in as little as four weeks.
Cut down on your calorie intake aiming for around 1,250 calories per day.
Avoid water retention by cutting down on salty foods and drinking plenty of water to flush out your system (coffee, tea and soda do not counts as one of you eight glasses a day and are terrible for making your lymphatic system sluggish and promoting cellulite!)
Fill up on fruit and vegetables rather than carbohydrates.
Eat a diet of cellulite busting foods which include lean protein, oily fish (essential fatty acids improve skin, making cellulite less noticeable), berries (good source of hard-working antioxidants), eggs (which detoxify), citrus fruits (for their vitamin C), celery and cucumbers (they are great diuretics - celery actually burns more calories than it takes to eat!).
Avoid processed and fast foods, alcohol and salty snacks.

This is a diet aimed at improving the skin and body rather than losing weight specifically so amazingly, you won't have hunger pangs. You're allowed a variety of foods so there's no risk of nutritional deficiencies.

To see the benefits this diet needs to be accompanied by very regular exercise, which will get your circulation going and help to improve the appearance of cellulite.
