It’s one of the most important weeks in the fashion diary, with editors flying in from around the world to line the front rows at , and . And since navigating the notoriously chaotic Paris traffic, racing from show to show, and jostling for backstage exclusives wasn’t hectic enough, Team ELLE has tossed in a half marathon to keep us limber. We’re trading heels for high-tech trainers, petit fours for Powerade, and taking the bare face beauty trend to the extreme. Through the City of Light from the Château de Vincennes into Opèra, past Notre Dame and back along the famous Rue du Faubourg St-Antoine, we’ll be strutting— make that striking— our stuff for 13 miles. Puts a new twist on ‘runway’, n’est-ce pas?
