As Hunger Games: Catching Fire rolls out to cinemas around the world, all eyes are on J-Law, aka Katniss, and her form fitting, post-apocalyptic, fit-for-a-tribute training gear. Anjhe Mules is the London-based creative director of Lucas Hugh, and she, charged with the task of kitting up our unlikely heroine as she prepares for the Quarter Quell. Inspired by the Rover Curiosity mission, and no doubt the utilitarian severity of the Hunger Games trilogy, Mules has crafted a line of bold and graphic technical gear designed to support tributes through their gruelling prep. We may not be training for a battle royale, but sometimes, it feels that way— shades of crimson, plum and deep blacks mixed with sharp metallic accents, elegantly tailored for fit and flexibility make our somewhat less-critical trips to the gym just a little easier. We love the Highline Base Layer top with it's surf-inspired back seam zip, over a Dial Crop Top and Capri legging. The age of luxury technical sportswear is here— comforting thought, no?
