If running fills you with dread/boredom (delete as applicable) but you want to sign-up for a challenge before the year is out, try one of the Dirty Dozen Races. As far as obstacle course reaces go, there are a few to choose from, but Dirty Dozen Races (which launched in 2013) is set in picturesque parts of the country with undulating courses so running between obstacles is a challenge too. With different distances to choose from, and beer at the end it makes for a fun day out.

Sign-up before September 21 to enter the last Dirty Dozen races of 2014.
