If anyone knows how to look incredible while wearing very little, it's Emanuela De Paula. The Brazilian model is currently the face of Next lingerie, and her previous gigs include being a VS Angel and a Pirelli Calendar girl. Last night we met Manu ahead of the Next spring/summer 2015 lingerie show at the Savoy and grilled her on everything from her training schedule to her shopping basket. Read her tips for getting your best ever body.


1) Tell us about your training routine...

In a perfect world I'd workout every day but in reality, it's more like three to four times a week. Boxing with my trainer Michael Olajide is my main exercise. Once a week I try something different like Muay Thai and Pilates—depending where I am in the world at any given time.

It's important to try different things so the body doesn't get used to one exercise. The is secret is to keep challenging yourself so you don't get in a rut, and I always love learning something new.



2) What are the killer tracks on your workout playlist?

David Guetta, especially when I’m boxing. I love it. It's perfect for jumping around.

3) How do you make time for working out?

I don't give myself time to think about being tired! I just try to keep moving, knowing that when I finish working out I'll feel loads better. Apps like Boxing Timer are also really handy to keep motivated.

4) Name five shopping list staples... 

Lettuce, avocado, salmon, tomato and rice crackers. And lots of water and hot tea.

5) And your guilty pleasure?

I’m a steak lover, but when I need to lose few pounds it's the first thing I cut out of my diet.

6) What's the best piece of fitness advice that you've ever received?

Buy a jump rope (and use it...)
